Dr. Hershberger is a board certified forensic psychiatrist. He completed his adult psychiatric training at Harvard University as a graduate of the Massachusetts General and McLean Hospital psychiatric residency. Later, he completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at New York University. Dr. Hershberger is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Psychiatry at SUNY-Downstate.
He serves as the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry at One Brooklyn Health, and leads the psychiatric services and training programs at Brookdale, Interfaith and Kingsbrook Jewish Hospitals.
He sees psychotherapy, psychopharmacology and psychoanalytic patients, ages 16 and up, and also provides forensic evaluations and consultations. Evening hours are available
