Dr. Hershberger's practice is located near Union Square and Washington Square and is convenient for most patients in the New York metropolitan area. He sees psychotherapy, psychopharmacology and psychoanalytic patients, ages 16 and up, and also provides forensic evaluations and consultations. Evening hours are available.
A board certified forensic psychiatrist, he completed his adult psychiatric training at Harvard University as a graduate of the Massachusetts General and McLean Hospital psychiatric residency. Later, he completed a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at New York University.
He holds teaching appointments at New York University and New York Medical College where he supervises residents in psychotherapy, psychopharmacology and forensic psychiatry.
